When it comes to Cubana projects these tend to be rather challenging on both our creative front as well as stretching the limits on production and design. Midrand was no different with an exceptionally tight deadline looming, we had to knuckle down and stretch our teams to the limit to achieve the signage result as demanded by the client. This involved a tremendous amount of exposed neon work which is standard for the Cubana Group.
This is a rather large venue and has a very unique tower feature. Here the brief was to create a brand that could be seen over great distances. ACM cladding was used to cover the front of the tower with huge 2m high Cubana lettering this 3D reverse fabricated and using double line yellow exposed neon gave us a wonderful opportunity to express our signage capabilities.
Large ACM cladding framing to the left and right of this main sign this reading Havana Lounge and Latino Café, finished off this dramatic signage wonderfully. With almost 100m of exposed neon stripping to this venue as well as other large Cubana branding, not to mention all the internal work which was completed on time, resulted in a wonderful display of Rhosigns Neon’s capability when it comes to producing quality neon signage products.
This is not the first time we have been involved in a large Cubana project, in fact it seems to be the norm when it comes to Johannesburg. Once again this is another feather in our cap and we are very proud of the final outcome for this venue.
We operate our own studio designing sophisticated signage, from inception to completed product. We also have installation teams around the country, all of whom work to the same standards of excellence. In addition, our services include innovative sign rental and leasing packages.
